I need to get some of my wife's set slabbed, register it, and be #2 next to Branca!
Oh, the bragging rights!

What's scary is that this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to my obtuse collecting habits. Rest assured that I honestly do have some mainstream sets. Honest!
PS. Gilligan's Island isn't me, but I do have Fleer's McHale's Navy and Gomer Pyle sets, including the highest graded. Let me be honest...the ONLY cards graded! LOL
Oh yeah I forgot to say, "SHAZAM"!
Now your Canseco obsession on the other hand...

Could we adjust our phraseology to:
"Ex-Canseco obsession"

He's already been banned from the Newark Bears Stadium. Think about it - not allowed in Newark... How much farther can he fall....

You were ready to plunk down a 20-spot for this lot of Cansecos; seems like the obsession is alive and well . . .
Canseco Lot
But in the interest of full disclosure, I must note that I have a lot of 200 1989 Donruss Ken Hills sitting at home, each in a top-loader. Anyone interested? Anyone?
No thanks nnpopp. I've got a few for sale too though if someone would like to buy a nice lot.
Hmmm . . . Zardoz's bid of $70 bid would equal about 36 cents per card. Which is somewhat ironic, because 36 also happens to be the number of each card in the 1987 Topps set manufactured for every man, woman, child, dog, cat and insect in the United States. I'm thinking of sending my 1987 Topps vending cases to Habitat for Humanity for them to use as bricks; giving back to the community is the least we can do as collectors . . .
I hit the seven instead of the two, hence the bid retraction. I might be crazy, but I'm not stupid! Then again, I did bid on the lot in the first place.
Perhaps I need to search my inner soul.
