Reflective Coin Photo Images

I've seen some real cool edited coin photos with reverse reflections at the base. I would like to create images like that of my coins; can anyone guide me or at least point me in the right direction? I've been using Gimp for photo editing.
I love them Barber Halves.....

You'll probably need to look around the options on Gimp and just start clicking on stuff. I use PhotoScape a lot and there on the bottom of the home page is a menu. Click on filter and choose reflection from the list. Mayhaps something similar with Gimp.

Maybe look at some old posts by SpaceMonkey.
He was the one who originated that look on the forums with his templates.

Others know how to do it as well (I haven't done it for a few years, and I don't know GIMP, so I would do more stumbling than helping you on it).

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
