Link below. I always am so impressed when, here we are so many decades after he lefts us, and The Babe still gets great press! A true global Star in an age before satellite TV and the Internet. There will never be another baseball player on his level-- and I love many players. Just gotta give The Babe his due props.

Thank you for the "Ruthian" link. Little did the folks of that era realize how much of an impact the Babe would have/still have in the ensuing years up to the present. How many would still look back in reverence at his career some 80+ years later. History has been kind to the Babe and history has also deservedly so borne out all of his contributions to the game. Cheers to the memory of the "Sultan of Swat".
