Thoughts on my Dad's 1958 Greatest Game ticket stub please...Updated: Back from PSA...

Hi All-
I'm a veteran of the PCGS coin forums. I don't know much about sports or sports collectables.
My father went to the 1958 World's Championship "Greatest Game". He has the ticket stub. They seem to be worth thousands based on ebay closed auctions which I've seen in the past. He has a lot of ticket stubs going back to the 40s. Of course, this is the ONLY one that he ever wrote on (figures!!).
Anyway, the front looks great. The back is written on.
I would very much appreciate any thoughts on how damaging the writing is to the value and any estimate of value.
I will be picking the ticket up next week and plan to submit to PSA for grading/authentication. I, of course, know that it's authentic as my father went to the game.
If this is the wrong forum please let me know.
Thanks so much!!!
So, I took the advice of the Forum and submitted the stub.
It just came back. I've posted pics below.
The stub looks very nice to me. I was surprised by the grade. Of course, it's been sitting in a box in my Dad's drawer for almost 60 years.
Not that I want to sell it, but any thoughts on value and or desirability of this stub?
Thanks!

The ticket is in fantastic shape. It was placed in a box after the game and just found.
Thanks again, R-
A program and a better condition stub from that same game sold for $750 a couple months ago.
Good Luck!

He has the program as well in excellent condition.
<< <i>I'm thinking $1k may be a bit optimistic in that condition, but I'd certainly get it slabbed as authentic by PSA.

$750 for a $7.50 face value ticket so $1000 for a $10 face value?
<< <i>Pardon my ignorance, but what game are we taking about? >>
From the eBay listing: It's been dubbed "The Greatest Game Ever Played". Dec. 28, 1958 at Yankee Stadium between The Ney York Giants and The Baltimore Colts. The Giants had just completed their storybook run to the Championship Game by defeating The Browns Dec.14th, 13 to 10 on Pat Summerall's "Forty Nine Yarder in The Snow", to force a playoff with The Browns on Dec.21st. Sam Huff and The Giant"D" shut down Jimmy Brown and The Cleveland "O", 10 to 0 in the playoff game and went on to face The Colts whom they had beaten 24 to 21 six weeks earlier. But it all came to an end in overtime as Johnny "U" drove The Colts downfield and Alan "The Horse" Ameche ran over Jimmy Patton into the end zone and into pro football history.
Please see original post which I just updated...
Thanks!

<< <i>Looks great slabbed! >>
Thanks.
PSA really did a great job!!
Really cool to know that my father attended the game and kept the ticket for nearly 60 years!
<< <i>Value? Priceless. >>
It is priceless from a family perspective.
Last year my parents celebrated 50 years of being very happily married. The writing on the back "Cookie" is my mother's name. My father wrote her name and number on the stub back when they started dating.
It's a really wonderful family heirloom.
