Glad it wasn't spelled that way on the coin.
Too many positive BST transactions with too many members to list.
Are the planchets dipped out first, or how are these so blast white and lustrous with no hints of the underlying coin design?

I wonder if they'll make me some other dates, like a '96 O, '97 O, '97 S, etc?
Die Pair 1 Reverse shield partially shows on obverse, due to engraving error
Die Pair 1 Die crack on reverse started early as a thin vertical line on shield, then gradually became more severe
I have quite a few D.Carr re-strikes, as well as his original designs.
He is very nice to work with, and, his attention to detail is impeccable.
<< <i>Nice 1/2 Dolar.
Glad it wasn't spelled that way on the coin.
Yes, I obviously paid far more attention to the coin than I did to the certificate
The next printing will be corrected.

<< <i>Yes, great work. Too good? Whats the rule on having "COPY" somewhere in the design when it comes to this and other D. Carr art pieces? >>
that's been the debate in every dcarr overstike thread barring recent ones.
on one side, they are fantasy dates of things that don't exist.
on the other hand, there are those that say they purport to be real and are counterfeits &/or need copy.
pick your poison. the battle lines have been drawn long ago. not much use for the usual suspects to even re-re-re-re-re-re........ hash it.
mine has the "severe" die crack.

That is a succinct summary.
I just struck a few more and a new die crack has formed which extends from the center to the right across the wing to the rim.

Thanks !
Received my medal yesterday and love it !
I have it in the last slot on my Waite Raymond
National Album. It was as if, it had to belong
there.
