It would obviously depend on what is on the flip. If it did indeed come back 7 NM, it would be a pop 3, 2 higher. Good for sure but not top dollar. Compare this to the more infamous shorties where only one or two have been graded in total, and most of time only one above an "Authentic". A shorty common, pop 1 NM 7 with none higher, would certainly carry more value by comparison. The Stargell's value is going to be driven by how many people actively pursuing the 1968 OPC set and/or the Stargell Master set do or do not already own that card in graded 7 or better condition. If they all have it already, since there are 5 good ones plus a 7Q in circulation, then the one you are talking about will have a lot less value due to lack of demand. I have not checked the registry for this data for you yet though.

I have no idea what they have been going for but I wouldn't put a premium into getting one graded. If it is graded , it was a grader that let it through , not the scarcity of the card. there are lots of them but all short and either all or none should be graded. I would think a price for a star of straggles caliber in NM condition would be 25-50 bucks based on what the other stars sell for

good luck , good card , I had a beauty way back from my early days of collecting that I gave to a board member years ago who was a stargell nut

The flip shows "A"(factory cut short like most of the others). I have considered trading or selling it for a long time, but it has a certain mystique about it and as usual, after doing some research I kind of want to keep it! imageimage I appreciate the replies!
