Does anyone need to get rid of items???

Hello fellow collectors! I've been doing some "spring" cleaning around my home. Mainly because I am a Disney fanatic! Over many years I have accumulated a ton of Disney Collector items they become somewhat of a burden in parts of my home. As a collector find it hard to sometimes let go of items mainly because I felt that people wouldn't care for them as I did and they would jut become a waste and that is definitely not what I want. So I did some research on what I could possibly do with all my Disney Collector items. I came across a Christian Charity Organization called Collectibles With Causes. When I started to read about their organization I started to become more and more interested! I thought it was really awesome that I found a Charity Organization that was specifically for Collectors like us who are looking to donate their collections. By us donating items to Collectibles With Causes we help out families who are in need in our communities. This Charity is even nationwide. Big plus for me! Even though Collectibles With Causes greatly benefits the needy and pride themselves on their charitable works they also make sure the donors are taken care of. Donating your Collectors items, whatever they may be gets us great tax and financial benefits! I figured I could not go wrong with this Charity and of coarse I didn't. I got to de clutter my home and at the same time I helped the needy. And not to mention the financial benefits! I don't think there is a more rewarding feeling then giving back and knowing I made a difference in someone's life. So if anyone is looking for a way to get rid of some Collectors items I would definitely check out this Christian Charity Organization! Its a win for us all.

I got bad news, I don't think you'll be getting that cashiers check anytime soon!
We have a Boys and Girls Club opening up locally, and I have considered offering up to them a bunch of 3200 ct boxes of late 80s and some unopened boxes with the idea that they could build sets or do whatever they want with them. I won't miss then and if it gets a kid or two interested, mission accomplished. But it needs to be something I can drop off locally.
Best of luck. Sounds like a good cause.

What? I'm fairly certain it's coming...it's probably just held up in customs.
Regardless, I'm going to be rolling in cash soon once I receive my suitcase of cash disguised as black paper. It's an inheritance from a family I didn't even know was living in Ghana! They showed me how to wash the black paper coating off the stacks of $100 bills. I just had to Western Union $500 to help with the upfront shipping and handling costs. Can't wait for the big pay day!

<< <i>Sorry guys if my efforts in promoting a worthy cause is offending some of you. I just really needed to get rid of some things and their charity took a load off me. As collectors we all know our collections could get out of hand especially for a dedicated collector like myself. >>
You lost me when you started overusing exclamation marks!
<< <i>Well that's unfortunate! I guess I'm just overly passionate for good causes? >>
Of coarse you are!
Last week: Your Boat and Your House!
Maybe I can ease myself the burden of home ownership and give it to you? Can you take my car off my hands too (oil changes are SOOO annoying!)?

You can donate whatever you would like to someone in need. As for me I already have a home and car but thank you. I was just trying to promote something that helped me out that maybe other people could also take advantage of. Its the responsible thing to do.

<< <i>Anytime I am considering a request for a donation to a charitable group I check their rating with Charity Navigator and or Charity Watch. If they have a low rating or no rating I pass. There are plenty of high rated groups out there with needs to take chances on a little known group. >>

<< <i>Will you pick-up 20,000 1989 Topps Hockey cards? >>
Yes they take all kinds of collectibles. They have a form on their website [L=]http://www.collectibleswithcauses.org[/L] that is super easy to fill out. It took me no more then 4 minutes. Check it out
If you sell the collectibles, would you be willing to pick-up other items? My fiancee says I hoard. I have an old AC unit in the shed. Works nice.
If you don't take these kind of items then I have a piece of the Apollo 3 aircraft! This should qualify as a collectible, even though it looks like an AC unit.
<< <i>Question...how does the charity work? Do you take the collectibles, sell, then donate a portion to charities? Or do you donate the collectibles to kids?

im only a donor so your going to have to talk to them about that. I do know that if you would like your donation to so somewhere specific such as kids you can state that on the form.

You don't think anyone here actually believes you, do you? You've already been outed as a forum spammer, promoting a web of sketchy charities. See Here and Here.
Unless you can tell me how to make $80/hour working at home or show me how you've lost weight using body wraps so I can join your multi-level marketing fun, I think you can move on to some other forums.

Like i have stated before i am promoting a charity that i have used before and it worked out fine for me. Your allowed to have your own opinions if someone suspects that this isn't a legitimate charity organization that is fine they can chose any other charity to donate to. Either way if it is getting donated to a charity organization they are doing a fantastic thing by helping many in need! And THAT is my ultimate goal to promote giving (: Have a fantastic day

That was a great read.
Actually 88 Donruss and 89 Fleer baseball cards do really well in the compost pile. Within a few
month there is no trace left.
