Can anyone post or PM me a picture of one? I've seen a pic of one before, but can't remember exactly what it looked like. Would definitely be appreciated...
Actually photos of the 4F are rarer than the coin itself. The ribbon bow is much larger than any other variety. A forum member here has cherrypicked several off eBay for common variety money.
The 4F is photographed and published in Koutseris's pamphlet on Feuchtwangers but since this is copyrighted material and his coin I don't feel it proper to reproduce it here The 4Fs that I've seen are all very worn, VG to low VF. No bout only a small quantity were minted. Dr. feuchtwanger said much later he struck more than a million one cent tokens. If 20,000 overall survive, probably a fair estimate. The opportunity DOES exist for a new variety to someday be discovered. Sharp eyed eBay fanatics will do this.
Happy to oblige. I own a 4-F and they are quite scarce. Here is a photo of the F reverse. It is not shared with any other obverse. If you to a search on "GIF image" a thread will come up that is quite informative....started by Ambro.
