I've had a kind of slow period lately, but picked up this little gem in the Heritage weekly, the most common date/MM but it had a nice look I thought.

It's amazing how low cost these French minors in high grade go for!

For some reason, a decent number of the 1860s 20 and 50 centimes minors seem to have been held back or retained in really high grade. A bit like the 1898 sower pieces. A good thing for later collectors!

Well it arrived yesterday, and is actually much better in hand, not nearly so dark as the first images.
