Well, not me, but two of my coins were used to illustrate an article in the January 2015 Coin News in the UK. The article was "The truth behind the legend error" by Scott Wren. The coins they used were:

1772 Georius error Halfpenny:

1817 R/E in GEOR Shilling:

Both of these are tied for the finest graded at NGC. It's kind of fun having them illustrate an article, and they were kind enough to send me a free copy for using them. The 1772 is absolutely hammered for the date also, it's listed as P-900 in Peck where he rates it as Rare. The Shilling is listed as "Exists" in Spink Coins of England and is Extremely Rare, probably a dozen of so examples currently known.

No, the author wrote to me to ask if they could use images from the website, then I emailed them some bigger images.

GEORIVS no doubt rhymes with "glorious", and has some similarity to "gorgeous" as well, so I'd say it is an apt spelling.

Heritage is looking for a person to write enthusiastically about numismatics with some decent knowledge on the subjects. I think that Rob, Jeff and Zohar to name but a few should send an essay, you never know. If you want to live in Dallas of course.

No, they are British Zohar, so it will be about 50 more years before they understand about the internet.
