Some 71 Topps and misc poppage Update: scans added

I came across some really nice 71 topps. Figured most of the commons were going to be in the 7-8 range, and hoping a few would have an outside shot at a 9. Unfortunately, no 9s and a few more EOT and Min Size's than I expected. I definitely didn't get the grader of death because I was hoping for an 8.5 on the Elway RC (got a 9) and a 7 on the Rice RC (got an 8). Also was thinking 6 on the 1965 Mays and got a 7. I might resub the 1971 EOT and Min Sizes again on another sub after I look them over.

'71s are so tough. I'm glad I'm done with that set. Some got hits in there. I like how you sprinkled some high grade modern stars with the lower grade vintage. Good strategy!

Nice job on the subs. You have to hold your breath when subbing '71's. You did well.

Nice amount of 8s in those '71's. (...and I'm sure someone trimmed a Stan Bahnsen low number card to get it past PSA ;-)
Weird how Rose and McCovey got lower grades than the others. I wonder if you were expecting that or if they seemed to be of the same quality as the others.

I was expecting a 6ish on the couple of stars. They were not part of the nice group of 71s.

I have a box of mid grade stars at home. So when I do a sub of 50 cards where most are cheap commons, I will throw in a few of those stars into the sub that I can sell afterwards to offset the costs of the submission. This way if the commons come back lower than expected, I don't take a big loss.

I added a few scans of the 1971s. Just wanted a few opinions on whether they feel the grades are about right, if I got lucky, or if they could possibly be bumped.
