Should I Continue????

Being a long weekend I have been contemplating ripping a fairly expensive '80's wax box in the $700 range. I decided to open one pack to see what the cards look like. All the cards were nice but ALL had the same centering. Centered side to side but centered 60/40 top/bottom including the most expensive card in the set. The question is should I continue or is there a good possibility that the whole box is like this. Just found it odd that every card looked the same as far as centering goes. Thanks in advance for any help.

I think this is one of the reasons FASC boxes command a premium. Too many loose boxes out there that we're back filled with a few packs from other boxes after an earlier owner determined the quality of the cards in the box was bad.

I have opened a few of these boxes over the years and centering typically varies by each column of packs. I think you should be in decent shape if you pulled 50/50 L/R and 60/40 T/B.

Would be great to see some pics!

I opened another pack and this time no stars, same centering as the first pack. I think it's time to stop.

Absolutely, buy two packs online and get Steve to wrap that bad boy up and get your money back. Some other sucker can take his chances.
