Bought a 1965,66,67, & 68 Topps Baseball Sets I'm Stoked, Couple pics added 12:00 noon pst, more

Really nice collection, Two set were bought complete from a Topps distributor back in 68
Pics up later.
Wish he had left them in Original boxes but I'm still happy.
Paid Big Bucks on them, hope I bought with my head and not my eyes .
Just very impressed on Quality , of course owner ship adds grades..

One set is Missing the High numbers.

Yesterday I felt like a Kid in my own store.

Awesome stuff. I've always liked the 68 Carew. Since he shares his RC with somebody else, it's nice to have his first solo card, with that yellow trophy. Love it.

Private party,he bought the 68 as a complete set because his parents knew someone who stocked tops products in store.
I swear the 68 is the nicest cards I've ever seen.
We will know soon how good some come out shipping out a sample from each sets to PSA Monday for 5 day service.

Nice haul. Would like to see pixs of the 65 and 68 WS cards, if not too much trouble. IIRC the 68's are known as the "cheesecloth" set.

91 is a variation (1966) you have the 'traded version'

99 comes to mind as well.

The point was that I have yet to see a card posted that would grade over a 6 which makes the value of grading a waste of money. So like I said, someone picked through the sets for gradeable cards and filled in the holes with off grade hole fillers.

You have your opinion, I guarantee it's not a pick over set.
And I'm just taking cards at random.

My test grading batch has been sent of so we will see.
And most of the times I get grades guess on here, they turn out better. Of course sometimes not too. But overall higher than the avg guess.
I'm just stoked about these sets , especially the Fresh Card Look and Great overall Centering.

Guess no harm no foul, but grading from a pic is not the same as card in hand too. Either way I'm happy with my purchase.

Besides have you seen a better card than my Wille listed in the guess the grade thread.

That's a beauty of a leaders card. That would be an awesome add to any raw set. If that card receives a 6, I would be hugely disappointed.

66 is missing high numbers goes to 522, 67 is complete with sp

Not sure what your problem is, personally IDC, but I'm guessing you know everything about cards there is to know.
Butt Miscut possibly trimmed no way no how., and only on one, otherwise every card in these sets have been trimmed.
And yes I misspelled butt for u.
