Excellent field goal kicker. Made the pro bowl a few times, but is mostly remembered for that botched field goal attempt.

If the Dolphins make that field goal, they end their 17-0 season with a 17-0 Super Bowl victory against the Vikings.
Instead, the game finished 14-7.

    Bit of trivia. His side business was that of a fancy designed necktie business. Howard Cosell use to call him that little Cypriot tiemaker as Garo was of Cypriot descent.

    Just an FYI that the Vikings weren't in the SB that year - it was Washington.
