Hard to get excited over all these recently graded PSA 10 1986 Fleer Cards

Just one example, but are they really that much better than what we used to get graded at PSA 8 or PSA 9 15+ years ago? And where are these all coming from week after week? Surely not forgotten shoe boxes across America. Old graded cards cracked and resubmitted by high volume dealers?

I see a big difference between the two cards...especially on the backs.

Some sets are condition sensitive and the slightest touch can knock it down a grade or two. This is why there's a hefty premium for the "10"

PSA 8 does seem a little rough on that first one, must be something we can't really see? that bottom right corner looks like it could be touched, especially based on the scan from the back

in the end - this set is RED HOT right now and has been for several weeks

especially the stars in the new flips - those prices are going wild at the moment, almost makes me want to reholder because I can't really explain it otherwise

I saw $200 for a Patrick ewing 9 in the new flip, that card NEVER gets that sort of price
