Obscure Baseball Card Poster

Hi All,

I was talking to my LCS owner today and he was reminiscing over a poster he used to have in his shop. The poster was of a woman dumping her son's baseball cards into a fire. He said that the poster read something to the effect of "The Great American Tragedy." He was saying that this poster was quite popular when he first started out in the early 80's.

Does this poster sound familiar to anyone? I'm thinking this would be a nice gift to him, if I could find one.

Thanks!

I have seen that poster, it was back in the 1980s I believe and it was hanging in a local card shop. But I haven't seen it since.

Here is a picture of a poster that someone on N54 uploaded. It is different than the one that was described to me, in that it the cards in the barrel are not on fire. Does anyone recall this poster or another poster where the cards are on fire?

I have no idea. That makes this difficult - I started this search with no point of reference other than the description of the poster.
