Would like some feedback on this card, what's my result? I just got it back today and..... well take a look. Sorry for the cell pics.

psa 5 - you got the death grader and they banged you for the corners?

  • Beautiful card.

    I'll say 5.

5.5 or 4.5 would not surprise me.

Edit: I don't think it would take the grader of death to say the lower-right corner precludes it from being EX-MT

That's ridiculous. That would have pulled far beyond 5 money
    It never leaves you...
  • I might have to start scanning my cards and looking at blown up pics. They brought me back down slightly to reality. I was thinking 7-6.5, the grading disparity depending on the name is pretty gross. I have a stack of 59T common PSA 8's that dont present this well...

Bottom line it's a nice card. If you sell I think people would see that.

You're either missing a surface wrinkle, or the combo of soft corner bottom right and what looks like discoloration on the back pushes the grader from 6 to 5 - I don't see this being better than a 6

It does present well, that's for sure - unfortunately that's not really how technical grades are determined

    Beautiful card man.

  • As I mentioned before, I believe it is a 5 and the culprit is the bottom-right corner that is rounded a bit beyond EX-MT. The real crime is that you didn't get the 5.5 half-grade. C'mon! I'm sure it'd bump within a couple of reviews.
