Question about the 1983 Topps BB Vending box "wave"

Picked up a few 1983 Topps vending boxes. They look to have the proper "wave" and seem to be packed very tight. They have been shipped and probably stored for a while so there might be some minor disruption from that. Does this look correct to the experts?

Yes. Looks like every vending box I've cracked.

Sucks that so many corners are dinged already.

Almost every vending box I have opened (some from sealed cases) have that "wave break" (for lack of a better term). I think it's caused by a break in one stack of cards to the next? I'm honestly not sure, but I see it all the time.

    I think yours looks good.

I sincerely hope you provided the option and sufficient time for each and every member of CU to participate in the purchase of those vending boxes.

Looks like there are a few cards with tweaked corners, is this normal for vending??

Corners look worse than normal for vending although vending does suffer that damage typically more than wax and rack.

Since most of the damage is towards the side that does not have the top attached, it appears that the box was opened and closed several times.

Mrpeanut39 ( Brett ) is the person , that is still on these boards , that has opened plenty of these in the past . I know he subs most of the cards that are on his registry .

Although I have the top 83 set , only about 60 of all the cards I have in that set , were self submitted . The box looks like it was opened many times . The wave is consistent with vending , but the bumps and nicks on some of the inner cards suggest they may have been shifted or been moved .

I may be totally wrong here , but it looks like someone may be trying as carefully as they could , to find just the key cards .------ Sonny

Outside of the corners being damaged here and there, this looks like the non Bbce wrapped vending that I have in my collection.
