Does trimmed = authentic?

Found a what I think to be obviously trimmed Mario Lemieux OPC RC in a collection I recently purchased. I thought I would sell it cheap with full disclosure that it's been trimmed but then thought that would just put it into the market and someone would get scammed by it at some point. Am subbing some cards to PSA this month, would they slab it and call it "authentic" or just sent it back as EOT?
thank you!
thank you!

<< <i>I think for a Mario Lemieux rookie they'll slab it Authentic Trimmed. Just remember, though, that a scammer is gonna scam and will just break that puppy out of the case anyways. >>
Thank you - I would keep the card either way. I'll either do this or see if he ever does any autograph signings.

That's a great idea!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

That might be possible. Maybe HOFer Rookie cards are an exception?
Edited to add: But then I just found this one. Is this anything special?

And sometimes they'll grade a trimmed Wagner an 8. (Sorry, too easy)

<< <i>I know they won't slab a card as "recolored-authentic" as I've tried with an Al Kaline rookie. >>
Actually, they definitely will slab a card as "recolored-authentic". I have some (pre-war boxing items). All you have to do is ask on your sub form. Cards that are graded "Authentic" can come with either no qualifier, or with a qualifier which includes Altered, Recolored, or Trimmed.
