We are always looking for consignments large and small of certified coins (PCGS, NGC and ANACS) and U.S. Mint Products for our weekly coin auctions.
About GreatCollections: We are authorized dealers at PCGS, NGC and ANACS, attend most major coin shows, members of the National Auctioneers Association, ANA and FUN. Industry references available by request. We care about selling your $100 duplicates as well as your $25,000 rarity. We will tailor an extensive marketing plan for suitable consignments.

I've highlighted the main points below, especially about fees and key policies. Remember, we have no minimum for consignments (no minimum on individual value of coins, nor total consignment).

Seller's Fees
0% for coins that sell for over $1,000.
5% for coins that sell for $1,000 or less (no minimum, so on a $25 coin, you are paying $1.25).
Listing Fees
A $3-$10 fee, the first time a coin is listed (based on the minimum bid of the coin). Unsolds are relisted up to five times, and no listing fee is charged on relists.
Minimum Bids
There are three ways to set minimum bids:
1. Have GreatCollections set them
2. Start at a percentage of the values you state on the form (50%, 65% or 80%)
3. Start at a minimum bid of $1
Different consignors like different ways to set minimum bids. Some like more than one (we just ask to keep each different minimum bid selection to a separate consignment form). If you would like to know what we would set as minimum bids, please ask us - we're very open with our consignors.
Time to List Coins
We are very fast. Coins generally upload to our website in a matter of days. We always like coins to be listed online for at least seven days, and we're currently uploading about 12 days ahead of the auction date (ie. coins uploaded May 5th for auctions that will end on May 17th). All auctions end on Sundays at different times, usually between the hours of 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. Pacific Time.
Cash Advances
We offer quick cash advances for anyone who wants to take advantage of selling by auction, but needs some money up front. Advances can be up to 70% of the value of the coins (usually 40-50%), for a nominal fee.
Consignor Payments
Per our terms, we pay all consignors within 30 days from the date of their sale, although as members on this board will attest, we routinely pay our consignors early (most within 7-10 days). We can also trade-out consignor payments with purchases you have made from GreatCollections. This is an option when "checking out" on your invoice.
Your Coins are Insured
All consignments are insured while in our possession, by our extensive policy with Lloyd's of London. We are members of ANA, FUN and NAA (National Auctioneers Association), and also authorized dealers at PCGS, NGC and ANACS.

Yes - for raw coins, we can arrange grading through our exclusive "Grade & Auction" program. We'll pay for the grading upfront and deduct from your proceeds.
Yes, Chinese coins are welcome - we have a lot of clients in Asia - and it's an area of our business we are trying to grow.

I cannot even express my absolute satisfaction and overall happiness as a result of working with Ian. Im talking everything from the little things to the biggest of things (the $$$ IMO) Everything from his patience and professionalism when I was just a "possible client" who wasn't quite sure at all if GC was the best option for me, to his superior customer service once I did consign to the overall prices his platform enabled my coins to command and everything in between. Oh, and lets not forget that biggest difference that truly sets GC apart in this business, Their payout time is second to none! I really cannot even compare it to the other auction firms I spoke to, the difference in payout time was not even in the same universe! Those long payout times was one of the things that had been holding me back from consigning as I just couldn't justify tying up valuable operating funds for months on end like that. The very first consignment I sent to GreatCollections was in May of this year and I literally had a check in my hand less than 2 weeks later, for the total amount none the less!!!!
I hope anyone who might be on the fence about consignment, or undecided about which auction firm to try out who reads this will give Ian a try, you will be glad you did!
