Why does the 20th Century Gold Major Design Type Set not include a column for the dates of the coins

I've noticed this is the case with at least one of the other gold type sets, as well.

Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.

Most of the Type sets have this limitation.

I don't know why it is, but I've often wondered what the dates were.
