{SOLD} I bought these 2 Fatima "T222" cards in a bulk lot of coins and paper money...

I've done some digging online and it seems like the Austin is a better card, but I'm not going to pretend I have any idea how to grade cards, my guess is with the staining it grades pretty low, and the bit mark on the Meyer card even lower...
The Meyer card I really couldn't find anything about, it's a non baseball card of course, a track star.

Any help here whether I have genuine cards here or reprints, any sort of value? would they be worth grading? anyone want to buy them as is?

I do paper money and some coins so this is my first post in here, but if I bought junk tell me so. image

I apologize that the scans are the size of the moon, my bad

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Definately worth grading. The set has some movie stars and track and field stars and they are very difficult to find. Even an authentic grade would be worth it in my opinion. The number "12" next to the name is an indicator of how tough the card is. While it has no real meaning as an order but typically teens are tougher to find. The cracking of the cards is a good indication they are legit. Very cool cards for sure. I have about half the set done and they are super tough in any grade.

The Austin is actually a short print, so it's more valuable than the average common. The most recent standard catalog lists it at $690 in very good condition. I'm concerned that the top & left edges have been trimmed because those borders seem to be a little diamond-cut, and the right & bottom borders seem straight. If so, it will be graded "authentic." Otherwise, I think it would probably grade either a "fair" 1.5 or "good" 2 due to the crease. Grading companies are a little more lenient on prewar cards so it might have a shot at a 2. There aren't many historical sales to go by. An "authentic" sold for $67 in 2009, but it could have been a mess compared to yours, which presents nicely. There have been about five sales of a poor "1" grade in the past ten years, with a few going in the $100 range and one going for over $300. I don't see sales for any other cards, which means that if your card receives a numerical grade of even 1.5, it would be the highest-graded example to come up for sale in many years, at least on eBay and online auctions. I'd probably have it graded for that reason. You never know how high it could go if someone needs it to complete a set.

The Meyer would be graded "authentic" due to the damage, and it's almost definitely trimmed anyway. My guess on value would be about $15-20.
