Nice. The last 1799 is sharp. MS63 RB-ish, maybe? Or perhaps only MS63 BN, but decent.

Though it is well worn and the color is probably not wholly original, I like the look of the 1831 for some reason (for a circ, anyway). I guess because I'm not accustomed to seeing that many pre-1860 Brit pennies, and you don't see quite so much William IV material due to his short-ish reign.

Never could figure out the dang gunports on that tiny little ship. Heck, it's usually just a blob on worn coins, anyway. At least you've got a chance of counting them on those examples.

I'm glad you posted this, Chris. I have a really hard time with grading, as mentioned in your other post. I would have thought that the cleaned coins were okay maybe. I would have been concerned about chatter in fields, for the first 1799 and I would have been worried for no reason. I am impressed with the quality of your collection of these. Hopefully this also means that I have been under grading my own coins.

Thanks for posting, the grades and the images. A great learning opportunity.

And as a side note, helpful to see your OP date and grade reveal date. I sent a submission off near the end of April as well. Hopefully I'll get mine back soon. So far no word from our hosts as to any updates or grades posted image
