And yet another how baseball differs from the other 3 major sports

Occured to me this weekend while watching the NHL playoffs. After a playoff series or World series BB players do not meet/greet the opposition like they do after the Super Bowl,NBA Finals,Hockey Championship. Even in a boxing match once over, the combatants usually congratulate each other somewhat. In this past SB Sherman even greeted Brady after the game.Wonder if this "tradition" was always so for baseball.

    True statement. But I have read accounts where some players go to the winners locker room after the idiotic celebration has ended to offer congratulaions.
