    Are there more pages?

What's the connection with Mantle? Is his name in "type" on another page?

For me, if it's not on a limited litho, bat or ball e.g., I wouldn't pay more than a few hundred+ for his sig on a piece of paper. I'm no expert but that's my belief. I have his sig in a book that came directly from the printer and I still didn't/wouldn't pay more than $250ish.

I agree with Mike that if the document makes no reference to MICK, then the value is no more than a MICK autograph from the same period on an index card slabbed by JSA. ALWAYS nice to have a MICK auto. Did you buy this or are you looking to buy it?

No I didn't buy it just inquiring for a friend looking to sell it. There is a few other pages however Mickey Mantle isn't listed on them. This is believed to be related to his Baseball suspension in 1983 for affiliation with casinos in Atlantic City. JSA estimated value at $2k

Mantle had a postion with Claridge's casino in 1983. As a goodwill ambassador. The position involved "playing in golf tournaments with the casino's customers and appearing at public functions on behalf of the hotel." Willie Mays did the same deal with Baily's Park place Casino starting in 1979.

That's correct that both those guys had positions with AC Casinos. And because of it Bowie Kuhn banned them both from baseball, even though the majority of their job was to represent the Casinos at golf outings. (Ueberroth reinstated them as soon as he became commissioner.)

As far as that document, if it is about MANTLE being banned from baseball then I'd agree it's worth a lot more than just a signature. If it's not, but he is mentioned in the document, then it's also worth more than just a sig, but not as much. But $2,000.00? There better be a lot about THE MICK somewhere in that doc.
