April 24, 2015: Another KGII Copper, couple musket balls, and old sinkers?

Went to visit friends out of state and went to a couple of locations. First place got a musket ball and a possible old sinker? Second place got another musket ball and a possible old sinker too? This place was pretty well picked over by others and there were pretty much only pull tab an bottle cap signals. But, a nice 11-39 signal came up later in the hunt. it was probably 7 or 8 inches deep, and a beautiful green disc comes up. Turns out to be a KGII copper. Pretty toasted, but I'll take it!

    Cool.

I'm surprised the sinkers are bell shaped rather than just made from musketballs. I've found a fair number of "musketball sinkers" on sites of that era.

making them out of musket balls were probably easier. Do you think they could be for something else?
