Actually, I agree, with no sense of irony at all. It's right on the cusp between AG and G4, IMHO.
The relatively full rims would make me say Good while the weak reverse details would incline me towards AG. Of course the reverses of Canadian coins of this era, like US Liberty nickels, nearly always seem to wear like this, with the reverses seemingly weaker than the obverses. No doubt this has something to do with the way the metal struck up in the dies, with more going to the obverse portrait and less to the wreath. It's also probably why a lot of these coins eventually lost the dates when heavily worn.
I think it makes a Good-4, the rims are worn but has not really bled into the lettering or the leaves on the reverse. I think it's a 04 all day, unless there is a large amount of cleaning or something, but I don't think so looks honest enough.
