1822/1 O.101 Capped Bust 50C, EF40 Old ANACS Slab... PRICED TO SELL!

Although not a true overdate, the so-called 1822/"1" is recognized by all major TPG's as an overdate variety. The "1" under the second 2 in the date is merely a conveniently placed die line. Nevertheless, O.101 is a very popular variety among specialists. The present coin boasts wholesome, medium-brown surfaces with no major distractions. You might notice slight weakness at the A in STATES; this is typical of the variety, and finding one without weakness at this area is difficult.

The coin should cross to PCGS XF40 with ease, however these little ANA slabs are becoming somewhat scarce for that very reason; most have been destroyed, reminiscent of the popular Doily holders, so it might be more lucrative to keep it as-is. But ultimately it is the buyer's decision to do with it as they wish.

$500.00 and it's yours. PayPal add 3%. Check or PMO accepted. First to commit gets it!

Maybe it's about time you started a grading set, starting with the 22/1? image Thanks for the nice comments, Blake.
