I've got a billion questions

But for now if you could help with 2...

First, is there a service/site that is an alternative to SMR? Something with prices for graded cards.

Second, any advice on the best way to sell a large lot of cards, say 800 to 1200? I've got a bunch of OPC I'm
thinking of parting with and would love to get your thoughts.

Muchibus thankibus in advance.

    To get u started...
    1. VCP..vintage card prices....I don't even use smr at all. It's ok for a rough guide.
    2. Need more info..the years,..start by separating them into star vs commons, ones to get graded or at least to sell high grade raw. You're gonna need to know the grade.
I'm sure this weekend there will be a lot of info provided here. Not quite a billion answers tho. That'll cost you a couple of cents.
Interested in higher grade vintage cards. Aren't we all. image

If you want some good advice regarding your OPC's, Tom Salem, who goes by tsalems1, is a great resource, and a great guy too.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

    First be specific

Are we talking hockey, baseball or opc football??????

Collectability of HK is far greater that its topps counterpart

In BB it is far less but those that collect it love it...they made far less product.

If you want to stay away from ebay these boards are a good place to sell on buy sell trade thread.

Collecting PSA... FB,BK,HK,and BB HOF RC sets
    1948-76 Topps FB Sets
FB & BB HOF Player sets
    1948-1993 NY Yankee Team Sets
  • Thanks for the info...

My OPC is baseball, mostly 83 and 91, with some 80 and 82. I would say they're typical of
OPC - centering issues but otherwise really clean. Full of HOF, RC's and commons too. I know
there are 2 Gwynn and 1 Sandberg RCs.

Again, thanks and I'll shoot Tom a PM and see what he thinks...
  • Do you have any Chipper Jones cards from 1991?
    Scoreboard Malfunction
  • Sadly, I do not. I got only 1 out of 2 boxes a few yrs back and it graded 8. Sold it shortly after.
