TTM Auto Guys. Harvey?

Do any of you use the Harvey address book, do you primarily go through Sportscollectors, or do both? I'm trying to decide if I should throw down for Harvey or keep going with SC. There's only about 5-10 players I'm aware of that I can't get through SC, and once my SC account ends I think I lose the database to keep track of my cards sent out. Is it worth it to get the newest Harvey book AND resubscribe to SC? I have a few weeks before my SC membership expires.

Thanks.

  • I have Harvey's. My recommendation is to just use SCN--it covers everything I've needed. I rarely consult the book.

I ditto this. If you PM people who have had success with the players you need you can usually get the address that way.
  • I'll add that there's a moral argument for buying Harvey's: most addresses on SCN are derivative from his work. It's a small price. It's arguably free-riding not to. It's an endless debate with no right answer but worth mentioning.

I did buy all his lists a few years ago but I don't buy them every year.

I buy the Baseball book every year and also have a membership to SCN

I have been going after guys that had litte requests sent -- the addresses are unavailable on SCN but are in the book.

Both avenues have helped me out so much over the last 6 years I will continue to support both to show my thanks
