Picked up three new Bust Halves today and am offering them here first.
Tomorrow I will be bringing them to a local show so let me know quickly if you are interested in any of them

1812 O.106 R3 Totally Original .
This is a great original piece. Toned a medium/deep gray brown, and never cleaned or messed with.
It is not as dark as the picture might indicate.
The obverse is softly struck as is usually the case for this variety, due to the fractured dies.
Grade it by the reverse, which is easily XF.
A few of the edge letters overlap the rim as seen near 2 o'clock on the obverse.
You will love this piece. SOLD

1823 O.101a Patched '3'.
Dipped, and just a bit bright. Has just a few wispy hairlines that can be seen if you tilt the coin just right.
Some luster remains on both sides. Hints of prooflike surfaces.
I grade conservatively as VF35.
Many will call XF. Better looking than the pic might indicate.
Your satisfaction is Guaranteed........ SOLD

1838 Bogus Bust Half.
Contemporary die struck bogus Bust Half.
Has the usual test marks and scratches. The engraver wasn't paying attention when
he prepared his dies. He used '50C' on the reverse instead of 'HALF DOL.'
Still, this one fooled a lot of people as the piece obviously spent considerable time in circulation.
Davignon 3/E........SOLD
