Many are off center

Actually none of them are off center. Every single one of them is MISCUT. This has to be the ugliest lot of 1972's I have ever seen.

The cards appear to have border all the way around, so listing them as off center seems ok to me.

Poor pictures of the individual cards. The price he is asking is TOTALLY INSANE!

Either way they get a qualifier.

Either way I would be shocked if anyone bids.

I don't think the price is insane: Link and wouldn't be surprised if they sell for around 75% of that. I don't recall any 72 high numbers going for less than $10 each in any condition.

The lot linked above was a very nice lot. Huge Stars in that lot and the worst conditioned card would beat the best in the auction I am talking about. I have collected the '72 set for well over a decade and I have never seen so many Hi Series looking like that in one place. I have seen a couple in a set here and there but this is crazy. Looking at the corners my guess is this guy got a hold of a few packs and took a gamble and got royally screwed.

    Edited for my fat fingers

It still doesn't make sense when you can buy the full high series from Fritsch, of all places, at a comparable price. People bid way too much for the 72 FB hi's.
