Getting my second real Mantle card this week

Was shipped today from Probstein that I won. I think I overpaid a bit, 1956 topps, being authentic with a small corner missing. I'm sure you can find the one from his completed auctions. $88 being PSA Authentic. No number grade. I had $13 ebay bucks so that put it just under 80 with shipping. It's one mantle I def wanted. I can't afford a real graded one 5 or greater) so I'm settling for authentic. I'll post a pick of my two real mantles next to each other when this gets here.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Congratulations, Pete. Look at it this way. You selected one of the greatest cards Topps ever did of Mickey. Agreed, it's had a lot of love along the way, and perhaps its original owner carried it in a pocket for a brief time, allowing his chums to paw over it and give their, "Wow, you got Mickey Mantle!", Can I see it up close?", Could I please hold it for a minute?", "Ooh, look at that catch, "He's my favorite; I love to seem 'em bat on TV", and maybe even a "Hey, would you trade me that card for Willie Mays? Pretty please? Huh?

"NO!!!!!!!!!!!! Nuthin' doin. That's my favorite card."

Pete, you know it, and I know it. You can look at that card five dozen times a day. Moreover, ever single time you look at it, you just start to smile back at Mickey.

It's one of the perfect Mickey Mantles. This one's got lots of character. Go with it. This time it's not about PSA 5 or better. Way da go, bro. ----Indiana Jones (Brian Powell)
