    << <i>Seeeeeeee....everyone should rip everything! >>

The possibility of what might be under a wrapper is what got me started as a kid and what drew me back in as an adult. Just think of that poor Schmidt, waiting 42 years to be held and cherished, knowing it was one of the lucky ones, printed and cut just right at the factory, slipped into a stack of cards without damage--right in the middle where it was safe from gum and wax--and wrapped tightly to await its new owner. But it wasn't bought; no, its pack was saved, not opened. The cards it held hidden, not loved as they deserved. Then even the pack was put in plastic for preservation and display, and all hope seemed lost. But now, unexpectedly, it and its friends are finally free and the toast of the town. Look how proud it is! And think of how many more wonderful cards are out there, fingers crossed, hoping to be opened, waiting to show the world their glories. Set them free! Show them love! >>

This was really cool. Nicely done.

so happy for you! An amazing pack rip. Hell, I'd have been delighted to get that Carlton leaders card. The Schmidt?! Absolutely amazing-

    congrats
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.
  • That pack has waited 42 years to be opened and it sure was worth the wait. Awesome pull and good for you!
