i'm itchin to open a box...which one would you pick

i have a 1982 donruss wax bxo and 1985 donruss wax box sitting3 on a shelf. one of em is going down tonite. whichj one would you rip. go after a cal ripken or go after roger clements and kirby pucket.

82D is almost always a disappointment, even if you hit a Ripken the quality was awful. I'd vote 85D for ripping.

85 for sure. much more fun to break and low pops from the set sell well

1985 Donruss was an awesome, but financially unattainable, set for me as a kid when I started collecting in 1987. The set remains a favorite of mine to this day. I usually rip a box once or twice a year. always alot of fun and won't break the bank. The Eric Davis card is one of my favorites of all time.

Even though the 82D has the Ripken, I would go with the 85D. Larkin is right, even when you pull the Ripken RC, it WILL be OC. That box is worth more sealed.
