My off-center Rod Carew rookie card

Back when I was collecting as a young adult in the 1980's, the hot rookie cards that I coveted were the mid to late sixties debuts of Steve Carlton, Tom Seaver, Rod Carew, Johnny Bench and Nolan Ryan. Within the past few years I acquired a Carlton (PSA 9 OC) and Bench (PSA 8).
I just purchased this Carew card. I know a lot of guys on these boards would never buy a card with a qualifier but I believe they are a good value and can make cards more affordable. I bought this card during a 5X eBay Bucks day so it came out to $233 net, including shipping.

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.

Although I've gone nuts on a 63F set centered, I have loads of really nice affordable OCs that I'm very comfortable having in my collection.
I believe that OCs weren't as begrudgingly appreciated in the early 90s? I remember writing something on OCs a few years ago.
Nice pick up
....and a +1 for the Marc sighting - looks like you've been posting less often these days.
