1983 OPC Baseball Box Rip

WOW, what a fun box to open. With only 396 cards in the set, much "better" collation than a normal Topps set. I got basically one of every star, and was lucky to get 1 Gwynn adn 3 Sandbergs. Centering was fairly all over the place with only maybe 2-3 cards per pack centered solidly.

Also had the pleasure of one of my 3 Sandbergs being the gum card. He's currently sitting in the freezer. We'll see how it goes!

that does look fun. love the 83s
obv theyre from wax because of the gum but i could believe vending by the scores you hit. wow. is that usual with OPC and its collation?

Such an undervalued set. The Sandberg in a 10 goes for $800-$1,200 on a good day. I would love to add a Gwynn PSA 10 one day.

i opened one last summer and 3 gwynn rookies, great right. all three were badly miscut. 0 sandbergs.

yeah all of mine of the same player were centered virtually identical. if you happen to hit a gwynn or sandbergs being well centered in a single box, you'd have a jackpot, since you probably then have multiple
