Story on Topps Football stickers?

Any one have any info on 84 through 86 Topps
Football stickers and production thoughts? They
Seem very hard to find. There is one box on
eBay right now for $125 but before that it has been
A long time and you don't see 85's or 86's. I know they
Are stickers and not too popular but these
Have Marino, elway etc etc. just wondering if
Anyone has thoughts on the scarcity of these

I can't answer your question, but years ago I purchased a 60+ count lot of 1986 Topps Dan Marino stickers at a local flea market.

I've listed the whole lot on ebay a few times with no takers yet, LOL

Does the 86 contain any of the rookies? Rice, Smith, Young, Reed, White?

    All but Rice.

Edited to add: I've always really liked Topps Stickers. Often better pictures than the regular card.

I think the 1980s Topps stickers are undervalued as a whole....given their scarity vs. the billions of main stream Topps cards produced during that era.

I loved those stickers and filling up the books. Anyone seen a complete book? MLB and NFL.
Especially the foil stickers. Hmmm. Is that when the foil craze started?

I've got a plethora from baseball (82-84 I think). Filled a couple books back in the day but also bought sticker sheets to keep them perfectly in tact back in the day. They haven't seen the light of day for decades..football I just got in from football regular packs from what I remember.
