When I saw the thread title, I thought this was about an 86 Topps Jim rice. I thought, "that's a bizarre card to choose to fake!"

That would be bizarre. I'd say a 14k difference in value.

I always enjoy the fact if you buy it for the 13.5k, they still are going to jam you for the $5 shipping
IT IS ALWAYS CHEAPER TO NOT SELL ON EBAY

Why is it a bad flip?

The $5 isn't just for shipping, it is for packing materials and time! (Btw, this response is 100% tongue in cheek).

    Font is way off.
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."
  • I agree. I wouldn't touch that one with a ten foot pole.

    Barcodes don't match either.

Good catch. Soon as I opened the original auction listing and looked at the pic, the font on JERRY RICE did not look right. Seemed a little taller and narrower in spacing than it should be.
