Attended Thursday afternoon and was able to find some interesting coins to buy. Unfortunately, my time was limited and it did not see everyone.

What I saw that was of interest:

One dealer had a very crusty 1904 Canadian half- easily 45 if not higher. My only concern was lustre. I seriously doubt there are many better higher end circulated examples.

The same dealer had an attractive Baden 5Mark- I thought I had one so I passed it.

I see coins from several South American countries. I passed on a terrific 1738 8R- graded by out host- which I was just not prepared to buy.

What I did buy:

20th century Mexican copper including a 1921, 1928 and 1934 5 centavos. I found an amazing 1908-D Mark and a 1914-D Mark- both are GEMS.

I did find an 1890 double Florin- not rare but it is a GEM. I don't really look for the double florins, but this one looked too nice to pass on.

There were some other purchases...nothing in the OMG catagory
