1960 Fleer Football Pickups.....could the Stram grade a 9?

I picked these up today. Oddball misprint 1960 Fleer Football cards. Could these be proof cards? Or just printers scrap? The Ed Denk has a Kenneth Ford reverse. I also have 4 others not scanned.

The Sammy Baugh is on ebay as a proof card and is graded by SGC.

Could the Hank Stram grade a 9? It has razor sharp corners but is the centering within PSA 9 limits?

The lines you see at the bottom of the Baugh and Stram are from the holders.

Thanks,

Robert

Stram looks to have a small amount of paper loss on his forehead

You had me worried. It was just a piece of paper on the scanner and is not the card. The spot next to the "T" in Texans was from the scanner alos.

Card looks nice! It may have a shot depending on how the grader looks at the top/bottom centering

I think Stram will come back a 7 or 9oc IMO

Agreed. Very sharp card but if you don't ask for a qualifier it's a 9 oc.
Fleer was not very good at cutting the top and bottom edges straight either.

The tilt is what will keep that card from a 9. Honestly I think it would get 7.5 or 8.5. Being so crisp on the corners I think it would get the half grade.

I picked up the lot for $20.00 at a local card shop. Not a bad deal at all. These were in a lot of misc. stuff the shop owner bought.

    Robert,

Nice looking cards! However, the Stram is NOT better than 65/35 T/B on the right side. It's a bit less than 70/30. Best of luck.
    STAY HEALTHY!
