Holy Crap! You don't mess around when you decide to buy your first card of a player! Awesome looking card of THE MICK. Enjoy.
STAY HEALTHY!

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
I find it interesting to see that on the back Mantle was 5"11 and 185 pounds in this shot. Crazy that at the peak of the steroid era the top stars were 240 and up.
Welcome to the Mantle club-- great first card. That was the first Mantle I ever bought as well, and the exact same grade, too. As a kid that image always caught my eye.
That's a great looking 53. One of the best looking Mantles in my opinion. Congrats! I better look away before I get tempted to start buying Mantles too.
I've always loved the simplicity of his '53 Bowman...just a beautiful shot on a sunny day at Yankee Stadium. No graphics, typing or logos to draw your eye away from the beauty of the image. Congrats on a great card.
That's a beauty! 1953 Bowman's Mantle is the first one I came across when going through my step dad's cards. Except his went through some bike spokes or maybe a blender, ha.
