Hi everyone
I've been waiting for this one for 10 years - most of the time - if it's in good shape, it goes for way more money than I'm willing to pay. I thought this one was fair.
All-Star Baseball "Pin-Up" Book
At 50 cents, it came out in 1950 (copyright) featuring all-stars from 1949.
As on the cover, it features 7" discs of 10 AS players.
The photos were obtained from the Acme Newspictures - one of the big news service purveyors of photos to newspapers and magazines throughout the US.
Back is same as the front; All-Stars on the back inside cover.
I believe, if removed, one could make a really nice display with them.
Here's two examples of the photography - I'm sure most everyone has seen these.
Has anyone ever seen these discs graded? I was told by a friend that SGC graded them. That would be a big holder since these are 7 inches wide.
I know many people break these out and sell them individually. Obviously, these will stay intact.
My wife told me to stop buying stuff or go back to work!

Mike, we KNOW neither one is going to happen. Tell Mrs. Mike to take a deep breath and get used to it! LOL

Liquidating my collection for the 3rd and final time. Time for others to enjoy what I have enjoyed over the last several decades. Money could be put to better use.
congrats on the concluded search

Always nice to share and get FB on what we pick up.
Here's a few xtra pics from ebay - not from mine - the less one handles this the better - otherwise the discs may start to detach and fall out.
The HOF ratio on the 10 AS's is very good.
