  • i shared a pic of some pack a few days ago only on the forums here. when i went to add the pack cert to my set registry inventory today it came back already registered by someone else.this was a personal sub so no way should it have been registered by someone.

I've fat-fingered a cert # before when adding to my inventory (though I immediately recognized it was the wrong item and deleted). It's either that and they didn't notice what item actually got added or see the thread the other day about covering cert #s before posting pics.

ETA: I highly doubt a member here would steal cert #s like that, but this forum is visible to anyone with Internet connectivity.

    +1

It is a pain when it happens, but PSA is very quick to fix it when you let them know. This happens more when guys sell stuff and forget to take it out of their inventory which I know isn't the case here.

sorry to hear that. what a pain in the butt. what malicious reason would they have to do it on purpose?

i agree with above and usually the problem is when they forget to remove it. it is easily corrected. just a pain. but don't sweat it.

6's and 8's and 9's can easily be mixed up so check the number and try again.

They can cheat in the set registry awards. Happens quite often around award time.

More than likely it was the result of someone adding an item to their set and entering the wrong cert number. Certs are in sequential order so it's very likely someone got their sub back like you did and the cert # was similar.
