actually those are the new holders they're phasing in. what do you think? ill have to get new boxes to fit these sideway holders.
all kidding aside...sorry to hear. thats vicious. from afar, they look good to me. but don't get disheartened. because i know that it can def feel like a blow to the gut. time and experience and you'll be pulling in 8s and 9s. id be willing to bet that you'll only get better. i agree..you have to get a loupe if you don't already have one.
Interested in higher grade vintage cards. Aren't we all.
The 6s make no sense. Those cards look great and the only thing you would think could knock them lower than an 8 would be a surface wrinkle. But a surface wrinkle would automatically knock them down to a 5...so again, the 6s make no sense. It happens to me on occasion...and they are the most frustrating grades to get when you send in a great looking card.

As for those surface wrinkles that automatically drop you to a 5, don't beat yourself up over it. I just had my best sub of 70's cards ever, but still mixed in a few duds like that, they can be hard to detect. You have to angle the card in good light to see them.
Good luck with your future subs.

First of all, that's what she said. Second, and zeroing in on the Yaz, I guess I'm curious as to why you'd submit a card that not only has a wrinkle, but also has a corner that someone used to floss their teeth with. Not knockin', just wonderin'.
