I was the only bidder (and likely overpaid), but had to have the following Heritage lot: Heritage Link
This lot includes two counterfeit and one authentic 50 cent scrip note payable at the State Bank of Michigan. Given the wide variety of serial number ranges I've observed for this series of notes, I tend to believe that many thousands were issued. As a result, these may have been a worthwhile target for counterfeiters who had the ability to mass produce.
Since purchasing these notes I've seen a similar 'counterfeit' stamped 50 cent note, but was snapped up by an ebayer quicker than I.
