Personal FedEx account/number

General questions for the group. I've heard that some people have a FedEx account that they use for return shipping from PSA.

-- Is it easy to set up? What's the processes for doing it?

-- How does the cost compare to using USPS for return shipping?

-- Is there a certain amount of volume that you need to be doing to make it economical?

Any thoughts or general comments regarding the service that would be helpful to know before signing up are also appreciated. Thanks!

I'm a big fan of the USPS, but have been thinking about the fedex option. Thanks for bringing this up (wish I could give an answer).
  • Fed ex is a great option. I get my cards the next day. Its seems to be a lot cheaper as well. Easy set up.

I set up my account many years ago so I don't remember how difficult is was to set up. It had to be fairly painless, or else I wouldn't have done it. For all my subs, it's been quite cheaper to have them bill it to my third party account, rather than the normal PSA shipping. Then, FedEx just bills your credit card monthly for whatever the fees are. I've not had any problems using it at all.

If you are in Canada, which I am, setting up a Fed Ex account is the only way to go. It is extremely easy to set up.
