Registry DCAM question

The question is, In the proof lincoln cents (1950-pres). The 1964 I have is a PR69DCAM. For that coin I get a weight of 1 and 2 points for a DCAM. If I upgraded to a PR70 (not a DCAM). I would not get the 2 points for the DCAM. but is the coin still a weight of 1. Therefore I should keep the PR69DCAM and not upgrade to the PR70. Correct????
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

Some people prefer brilliant proofs. I prefer cameos. I'd buy a deep cameo even if it hurt my rankings.
In your example the PR 70 would hurt your ranking.
