1972 Topps Series 2 football rack pack

I have an opportunity to purchase a 1972 Topps Series football rack pack.
Are there any known sequences that I should be aware of, or anything else that I should be aware of?
Thank you in advance

Do you have a picture? I'm sure there are some guys on the board that could tell you a lot looking at the rack.

I have no sequencing knowledge for those racks, but man the centering on those top cards is awsome!

Those racks are really nice and look perfectly authentic to me. One of the main things to look for on racks from the early 1970s are the seams between sections, which are noticeably wider during this era to support the 54-card count racks hanging for display in the store. The seams were made narrower when Topps decreased the card count from 54 to 42 in 1974. The header looks good and also bears the correct product code.

Very nice rack, excellent centering. The great thing about those racks too... are the 54 cards from a series containing 132 cards. I think with those one sheet series, sequence breaks frequently and often repeats in the same pack.

How do the corners look on the cards that you can see?

Corners don't look horribly bad, but don't think they are a "10".

Not in any particular order. My preview doesn't work.
If these are too large, I'll resize and then edit this post.

There's going to be some gems in there if centering cooperates. Very nice!

I think I'm just going to send to BBCE and get it wrapped, then sit on it for a little while.
I wanna open it, but I just don't think I can. Unless..... maybe I got encouragement. image

I'm on the side of keeping it shut tight.

    I'm probably in the minority?

Beautiful rack. You dont see that kind of centering on something wrapped today. Congratulations on a great pickup.

I'm not one to keep it wrapped. Good luck in whatever you decide.

    Thanks,
