French Colonies sou, 1767, with ca. 1793 "RF" (Republique Francaise) counterstamp
In a new PCGS Secure Plus F15 holder and TrueView image (graded this April). The counterstamp was given an "XF details" grade on the label. So, interestingly, it's a dual-graded label with a "details" grade, but NOT a problem coin.
This type is listed with the colonials in the Red Book of US Coins, due to its use in Louisiana around the late 18th and early 19th centuries.
Nice even brown color with decent surfaces.
Asking $195 delivered, but I've got a little wiggle room on this piece, so PM a counteroffer if you like.
Also, speaking of wiggle room, I've got a sweet 1882-R Italian 20-lire gold piece that I got for a good price and can therefore pass some savings on to the buyer with.
(That one is already marked at the bargain price.)
